I write about the systems forming between human judgment and machine intelligence; especially where search, authority, professional work and trust start changing shape.

I came into AI from the operator side, not the futurist side.

I was trying to make real work less chaotic.

The original question was practical. Could I give the repetitive, memory-heavy, analytical parts of the work to a machine and get more of my own time back for the things I actually needed to think about?

That became The Synthetic Agent Manifesto in 2025.

The technology moved quickly. The questions expanded beyond real estate.

Then the technology moved faster than the original book. Search became conversational. Models started browsing the live web. Agents started doing work instead of just producing text. Synthetic media made it harder to tell where a person ended and a machine began.

I built this publication because I wanted one place to keep working through all of that in public instead of pretending I already had the final answer.

“We are not here to be replaced. We are here to evolve.”

The machine can remember more than I can, search faster than I can and chew through more data than I ever will. Great. I want all of that.

What I do not want is to confuse capability with judgment. Somebody still has to decide what matters, when the evidence is good enough to act, where the line is, and who owns the mistake when the system gets it wrong.

That is the human part I care about protecting.
